Just to ensure that everyone understands what the affiliate program is all about, I figured that I'd make a brief post explaining it.

First and foremost, an affiliate program is NOT a pyramid scheme. What it is, is a way for a site (in this case, TrainFightWin.com) to receive some great advertising from its users without having to front load the cost. In return, you will receive payment for hosting our banners or sending out or links. It is perfectly legal, and actually incredibly common.

It works like this, you login to the affiliate area and get the code for one of our banners or links. Each code already has your unique Affiliate ID embedded in it. When you insert that HTML code into your MySpace page, website, or in an email, it will track any clicks that you receive. So if you send an email to your friend that points to your affiliate link, it will lead them to www.TrainFightWin.com when they click it. However, they will now have a tracking cookie installed on their computer which will track their activity. If they then purchase any of the videos, you will receive credit for 60% of however much money they spend. In short, if your friend clicks your affiliate link and spends $100 on our videos, you will get $60 for sending them to us. You get paid for advertising, we get a new customer.

i had one quick question about this. i understand the affiliate program and im not looking to get money so much as i just want to get trainfightwin name out there so to speak(not that it isnt already huge) but the question really is just a myspace and an email adress at the end of all emails i send too small? do i need a website officially JUSt for TFW or can it be smaller scale things? just curious cause if it is im definitly ganna catch on to the program

Man the affiliate program can be as large or small scale project as you would like it to be. There have been some MMA fans that have talked about building an entire site dedicated to, and others who just add their link in an email to a couple of training partners.

What I have tried to do is accommodate both needs for everyone. If you wanted banners to help make it look professional, they're already done for you (with your code in them) so that all you have to do is copy and paste into your MySpace code. If you just want to send a few emails, that's cool too-- just add your code.

One of the best ways that I think a LOT of people could take some serious advantage of is to go into sherdog and some of the other HUMONGOUS message boards and post a lot of content with their affiliate link in it. Either use your affiliate information as the signature, or answer questions about techniques and have a link to TFW with your affiliate link. People will be directed to TFW and will never know that they even clicked your affiliate link. That could potentially be HUGE!

You're already signed up. Everyone that has an active account on this site also has an affiliate account. Just click the top link that says "Affiliate" and then sign in using the exact same login information that you use to log in to the site.
