Hey everyone,
I'm going to soon decide exactly how I want to run the rewards system for the invitation program. I'm sure that everyone sees the new menu item called "Invite" that is also in your usermenu and profile. If you click on that page (make sure you are logged in) it will take you to a page with a few options. First, if you have any email contacts in your address book for your personal email that would be interested in this site, then you can click the blue down arrow and use the tool on the left and/or right to import your contact list from either your online email (option on left) or your Outlook (option on right). Simply follow the instructions to login to that email and it will automatically import all of your contacts. Simply check the box next to any of the names that you want to send your invitation to, and when you are done, click "Top" and then "Add selected names" to add them to the recipients list. If you have any other email addresses that aren't in your contacts folder, then you can add them manually to the appropriate box. Now you just add a custom message into that box and you're ready to send. You can send this to up to 40 people at a time and for each person that accepts your invitation, you will receive two Karma points as well as have them added to your Friends list in the site.

Furthermore, your list of invitees will be tracked in your profile. I will be soon implementing a rewards system where if you invite X number of people that accept, you will receive a free shirt. If you have Y number of people that accept, you will get free videos/gear; and if you have Z number of people that accept, you will receive a free iPod preloaded with all of the videos from the site. Even though the specifics of this plan are yet to be unveiled, you can go ahead and start earning credit toward it by sending out invitations.

This being the case, you are a perfect candidate for the affiliate program. Your account has been approved, and if you have access to a lot of MMA communities you can actually make money from sending users to the site through your affiliate link. Hey Mike,

I appreciate your willingness to help out. The URL that you should link back to is actually called a namecard link so that you will get credit for the people that join because they clicked on your link. I have included that code below.

The way that you can edit your namecard is to go into your profile and click "Update your Profile" and click on the "My Invitations" tab. This will allow you to add your own message and auto-connect with members that click your namecard. You can view your name card by clicking on the "My Invitations" tab in your public profile view and clicking on the link that says "(username)'s Namecard."

In order to draw traffic to your namecard, you can use the HTML code to display the image that you see below the namecard in websites or MySpace pages, or you can use the bbcode to display it in message forums. Upon clicking the image, the user will be brought to your name card.
