Why is it that everytime I post in a thread, I am automatically subscribed? Surely I am missing some way to change the default setting so that I stay automatically unsubscribed and have to go out of my way to subscribe?

Really, I think the default setting should not be 'subscribe to thread'. How hard can it be to change it?

I don't know what to tell you, that's the default setting in the component that I use for the message forums. Sorry for the inconvenience.
