TRAIN THEM! WORK THEM! LEARN THEM! They are essential, in my opinion.

Please, another few examples to prove its legitimacy, this is your base support it, force me into thinking that i cannot go my career without knowing catch wrestling.

Don't study it for all I care. personally I like to at least have a cursory understanding of everything I can. The more tools in the toolbox, the more work you can do.

CACC doesn't have the exposure that BJJ does. So it doesn't suprise me that it isn't a very well known art in MMA. Hell, Judo is a far more mainstream art and it's relatively unutilized in MMA. With MMA evovling as fast as it is I wouldn't be surprised if you never see a true CACC move. But I'll bet a paycheck that befor too long you'll see and amalgamation of BJJ/Judo/CACC. CACC is too big a treasure trove of skillsets to be ignored completely.

Sakuraba beat the Gracies with Kimuras, a juda move.

He beat Renzo with a Kimura, and his base is Catch Wrestling, so specifying one particular submission is pointless, as you then negate the rest of the fight. And Catch didn't get the Kimura (or hammer lock, as they call it) from Judo.

force me into thinking that i cannot go my career without knowing catch wrestling.

Umm...no.

I specified catch wrestling submissions and said they weren't effective or used very much, kimura is from judo. Try read what I was saying instead of picking on points I wasn't making.

Umm...no.I was saying to make a valid point and your response is this. You were correct though, you haven't made a valid point.
Keep coming though, I enjoy this banter.

The Kimura (albeit by different names) existed long before Judo, and catch wrestling also predates Judo. That was my point. Simply saying a point isn't valid, doesn't make it so. The sun is not hot. See?
I said "no," simply because I have no interest in trying to convince you of anything. I don't mean that to be insulting, really, I just have no desire to engage in what are inevitably futile endeavors.
