i did not watch any undercards and the main event fight is already being talked about in the f word but i thought all in all it was a real exciting card with the exception of jason "mayhem" miller vs jake shields. i have to say that as much flack as the silva/leites fight got it was nothing compared to this. dan henderson is no longer the master of lay n prey. werdum vs bigfoot was awesome. that is what a fight should be. gegard mousasi vs sodkoudjou was the surprise of the night. i didnt think sodkoudjou would last that long against mousasi. then again, i think mousasi has a very bright future. he is only 24 and is already 27-2-1.

Sokoudjou is not a real fighter. He has no heart whatsoever, when things are going his way he looks great, when he gets into trouble he crumbles.

yeah, the shields/miller fight was very frustrating. although i do understand why jake shields got the decision, i was very unimpressed by his performance. jason miller was trying very hard to be an entertaining fighter, and he even had the fight won with a rear naked but ran out of time. the only reason shields held miller down as much as he did was because he made no effort to inflict damage. boring.

I agree, Shields did win but only because he did not try to finish the fight, he just concentrated on maintaining a dominant position.

People use to tell me that Shields would be able to take GSP. Don't know where they got that idea but it couldn't have been from watching his fights.

Listen to Jake and he'll tell you how many fights he's finished by submission. Heck he'll have you thinking he's a submission master if you'd let him. Funny how he didn't even want to toy with Millers sbmission game.

Submission is the easy way out... I suggest you take it
