hmmmmmmmmm. this is interesting. i wanna see chuck win just so he can put a nail in the coffin of tito's career. who is tito gonna fight if he loses to chuck? randy couture? wait until they are past their prime to take shots at them. 4-5 years ago he was dodging them like the plague. tito is such a chump.

I don't want to see this fight happen. Chuck has nothing to gain and only more of his legacy to lose. Tito isn't worth it, and I don't think Chuck could take Tito any more.

Let Chuck be the legend that he deserves to be. He did a lot to transform the sport, and the sport should be grateful enough to let him retire with dignity without trying to wrench a few more ticket sales out of him.

If I have to watch Tito beat Liddell I will probably cry.

Hey isn't this pretty much what I said in the other thread about getting guys to retire when they are all used up? I thought you disagreed with me on that one.

Dana should have stuck to his guns on not promoting any more fights for Chuck. In the end though, it is Chuck choice to fight. If it isn't in the UFC it'll be someplace else. It is kind of a sleazy "he's gonna fight anyway... might as well proffit from it" angle. If Chuck can pass the pre-fight physical and the comish says he's good to go I can't blame Dana too much. Even Hackleman has said that Dana was extremely reluctant to set the fight up. But Chuck insisted it was his career, not Dana's.
