I will be making my professional MMA debut January 10th in Evanston Wyoming as a heavy weight(225). The promotion is WMMA (Wyoming Mixed Martial Arts) out of Evanston Wyoming. My opponent is Robert Stout(279) from Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Other fights on the card will include a amateur featherweight title bout, a amateur HW title bout (one of the guys I train will be fighting for this one) and possibly a amateur MW title bout. WMMA has recently come to the attention of Jeremy Horn, the boys at Foley's MMA and UTCTC (Utah Combat Training Center). Their involvement has greatly increase the technical talent available to WMMA. Helping transform the WMMA events from your average "cage fight" to an exciting full fledged MMA event.

Just as a bit of background. We have a bit of a pissing contest between the promotion I work for and another in the state. Robert happens to have fought for the other.
As far as his background. The best I can get is that he accepted, and admits to, a 300 dollar payout for his last fight makeing him a pro. He is 0-4, but his fighter application to the event I am affiliated whith claims a 10-4 recrod. He's 270 pounds and looks like he should really be at 190. He called me out useing my two "short fuses" by calling me a bitch and a punk. And he stated, without a doubt he'd whip me so long as knees and elbows to the face were allowed. I am the one who pushed for the pro event. because in our organization we only allow knees and elbows to the face in the pro division. And I have been training for 5 minutes round for the last 9 months.
He's since pressed the promoter to convince me to make it an ammy fight because he can't get in shape for 5 minute rounds. I know it seems like i am picking on the fat guy because I know I can outlast him. And it is true in part. But Wyoming has no comission. And I am fed up with fly by night promoters setting up ringer fights pairing locals with pro fighters. My show conducts itself as if it were sanctioned. And his show is notorious for using local guys with no experience as tune up fights for pro fighters. If he wants to back up his "I'll knock your teeth down your throat" smack then he'll have to face me as pro.
