Strength, Endurance, Flexibility, etc. Resources! 1 Year, 7 Months ago Karma: 2007
I get a lot of emails asking where people can get some fitness resources to better enable them to burn fat, build muscle, increase flexibility, increase stamina, and reduce injuries. I have received HUNDREDS of these emails, and want everyone to know that I am working with one of the foremost endurance and strength trainers in the country to bring you an entire fitness program. Until then, I have compiled a list of great resources from all over the internet to bring you the results that you are asking for until our fitness program is released. Below you will find a list of resources and brief review and explanation of those resources.

The first product that I want to share with you is actually a competitor's product. As all of you are aware, Ari Bolden of Submissions 101 runs a very similar website to myself. Subs101 is largely based around Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu while TFW is based primarily on MMA, and there are some other differences; but largely our sites share much of the same membership because of the similarities between the two. Competitors or not, Ari does an outstanding job sharing content regarding Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and now fitness for jiu-jitsu. His program is now available HERE, and I truly suggest that anyone wanting to take their game to the next level check it out. It has flexibility drills, warm-up exercises, static strength training, and more. If I am telling you to check out my largest competitor?s product, then you know it must be good!

The next product that I want you to check out is very similar to the one mentioned above, but is geared more for an MMA workout. You can find its link HERE, and I suggest you strongly consider looking into both of these programs. Because both are so incredibly effective, they are my top two picks for fitness products that fighters should use which are currently available.

If you are interested in other fitness products, then I suggest looking into our Fitness Resources area on our site. You can go directly to that area by clicking HERE.

I'm not familiar with them. There are a lot of good resources out there. There's also a lot of crap out there. My top two favorites that I have listed above are particularly made for jiu-jitsu and MMA fighters.

alot of endurance is heart. its pretty hard to go all 5 rounds if you dont have heart. strength and flexibilty is something that happens over time for most people. for the most part its just alot of hard work unless you are blessed to be naturally flexible or strong.just do simple stuff like touching your toes until you can go farther and farther. just keep doing pushups until you cant do anymore and then everytime add a couple until you struggle then keep doing them. run a couple miles. then just keep trying to get faster. theres no secret to it.

I have rescently started adapting over to Martin Rooney's "Training For Warriors" system. It's a good solid endurance and stregnth training system that emphisizes movements specific to MMA. And he has an interactive web site with a forum. Where you can get his input on your particular training program and training needs.

My take on strength and conditioning is to many so called experts try to piece together generic programs for people to get in fighting shape. That is a BIG problem. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I didn't get to check the links out in your post Richard, I have a rather junky, slow, PC and the links won't load. Anyhow, if I can make a suggestion for a few sites I've found rather useful for strength and conditioning.

www.8weeksout.com

www.rosstraining.com

I'm rather smart on the human body as well. Particularly how the energy systems work and nutrition. A few years back my wrestling team had to take classes on this stuff because of some kids getting so run down they ended up in the hospital.
