Lol- throw some 30 pound dumbbells in that program and then come back to post your results. I have a feeling that you'll have plenty of burn!

At this point I am using a set of resitance bands. And belive it or not they work well. But if anyone out therd is like me, you will end up stretching them a bit too far. My wife (who is doing p90x with me) has complained that I ruined them by pulling too hard and too often. So maybe I need to upgrade to actual weights in the near future and then maybe I will feel the BURN I should be feeling. Try the free weights for sure, and i am just curious, how many reps are you getting on the chest and back exercise are you going close to failure each time. Also you might want to look into thicker bands. If you have a good set of thick bands they are actually harder than the free weights.

This product has jumped to my number 1 most wanted list along with 1001 Submissions package. Both look awsume!

I'll be starting it in Mid August when I come back from my holiday and tournament in Japan!

Get Ripped 4 Uni sounds Awsume!

Excellent, ash1986! Both products are top-knotch. I'm a little over a week in on the P90X program, and it's kicking my butt! I think that you'll be pleased with the results.

I truly believe that everyone should check out the P90X program if they are serious about taking their training or competition abilities to the next level.

Also, I'm glad you mentioned it- the 1001 Submissions resource is a phenomenal investment. If you are a beginner grappler, it has a lot of options that you'll want to explore as you get more experienced. If you're a more experienced grappler, it will serve as a great mental refresher and maybe give you a different aspect of a given submission or chain that you didn't previously have.

One resource that offers a slightly more MMA oriented view of the submission game (and also includes striking) is Bas Rutten's Big Books of Combat. It's also a great resource that shows everything from training routines and striking combinations to escapes and submissions.

You can send payment to me and I will drop ship it to your location. It is quicker and will be more efficient than having to use their international department. Send me a private message if you're interested in doing that.
