Spreading the word on Facebook |
This is quite possibly the most effective method of sending invitations of any that we have mentioned thusfar. Many people are now using Facebook as a way to keep in contact, so we might as well use that to invite them to TrainFightWin.com. Here is a simple step-by-step process on making it work.
1) Get your namecard link by going to your TFW profile and scrolling to the bottom of the page. Under your “Invitations” section, there is a link that says “(Your name)’s Namecard.” Click this link and scroll to the bottom of the new window that it opens.
2) In the top box that says “Meta Link” there is a link, highlight and copy the entire thing.
3) Login to your facebook account and visit the group called “TrainFightWin.com” (and join it if you haven’t already). You can find that group HERE.
4) Click the link that says “Invite people to join” on the right hand side.
5) Now you can go through and invite any and everyone you know that you are friends with on Facebook. You can also include a message to all of the members that you are inviting. In the comments section, include a brief description of TrainFightWin.com as well as pasting the link that you copied in step 1. When someone clicks that link, they will see your name card page with a registration link. (Note: if you view this namecard page while you are logged in, you will not see the registration link—but other people will!)
That’s it! Send the invitation to your friends and you should be good to go! If you are interested in inviting through Facebook, you can also add the Train Fight Win application to your Facebook profile! Thanks for your support!
