Cain Velasquez Says UFC Signed Him Without Ever Seeing Him Fight
Number One UFC Heavyweight contender Cain Velasquez (8-0, 6-0 in UFC) will be fighting for the UFC title on October 23rd when he fights Brock Lesnar in Anaheim, CA and in a recent interview spoke about getting signed by the UFC with only two fights under his belt and UFC President Dana White never seening one of his fights:

I had two fights on my CV and wanted to fight in other shows before going to the UFC, to get some experience. But It was really hard to get fights with other organizations, so my manager said: ?We haven?t fought in a long time, we can?t wait any longer. It?s time to call up the UFC.? He made the call, made Dana White an offer and we went to Vegas. We took two fighters with us and Dana watched me standing with those two fighters and doing Jiu-Jitsu with another two heavyweight athletes. He liked what he saw and told me I was in the UFC.

Overeem Not Fighting Aleks Emelianenko, Says Fedor Ducking Big Foot
Alistair Overeem is pulling no punches in his the on going fight saga between himself, Antonio Silva, and Fedor Emelianenko.

Overeem, who had been rumored to be taking on Aleks Emelianenko in the fall went on record today saying that the fight is in fact NOT happening. "For the record: I will fight in the K-1 and not against Alexander E. I read something on the web and I'm not fighting him." Overeem posted on his Facebook page.

After a message was posted on the official Fedor Twitter account that he wanted a fight with Overeem despite rumors that he would be facing Antonio Silva, Overeem responded with the following messages, one directly to Silva "@ Bigfoot Silva; Everybody is talking about me and Fedor, it?s not fair to you. Fedor should fight you in December, then problem is solved."

That was followed up with "The real reason M-1/Fedor called me out is to distract attention of a possible match with Silva. He wants Fedor but M-1 don?t want Silva."
Things are getting juicy.
