Yesterday was way hectic. And I got way over on my calories because I had to eat what was brought to me. So I logged in at around 1600 calories. I got in a 4 mile run and did a couple sets of stadium sprints on my way home. But running in 15 degree weather blows.

Weight is 226 solid. Pounds now are going to be earned. Today is a scheduled recovery day but I feel up to a little gym work so I am headed that way right now. I preffer to work out at 5:30am rather than in the evenings because I get sketchy working out around other people. People hoping in on the equipment I need to use, fools tryin to chat me up while I am working and so on. If you don't want me to be rude then stay the hell out of my way. I'm crabby as hell because I am freakin hungery and overall sore from the ramped up intensity of my workouts. AND I CAN'T HAVE ANY BEER!!!!! You know how hard that is for a guy who brews his own... like on the order of 15+ gallons a month (in various stages). Of course I don't drink it all by myself. I have a part time hobby/job as an apprentice brewmaster at a local micro. Lets just say I love beer and I miss it dearly. And I look forward to doing unspeakable things to a deep dish pizza. This will ease up in a week or so. I intensely crave carbs right when my body is about to shift gears and burn fat like a madman. Keep focused and imagine my fist to his face then his face to the mat.

I feel for ya man. Once I get to about a week out of a fight, I am looking forward to the post-fight pizza and beer more than the fight itself.

I am going to head out of town today to train with a group of guys a couple hours away. One of the remote field plants I manage is close to them so I'll just stay overnight. Weight cutting + traveling = pain in the butt. The attached image is my food for the next two days.

Bfast: 1 non fat yogurt, hb egg & vitamins.
snack: 1/2 tin salmon & banana
lunch: salad & hb egg
snack: other half tin of salmon & apple
dinner: salad & hb egg

It creeps in just under a 1000 calories. But I'll be spending quite a bit of time behind the wheel the next two days so I shouldn't ned a ton of energy.

Weight this morning is 223. This has become a new trend the last couple cuts. It seems I am able to drop quicker. If I can get to a maintainable 205-210 after the fight I am going to reasses my overall diet and workout program to see if I can cut to MW.

Well... I am in a brace and scheduled for a scope in two weeks. Re-seperated my knee last night in training and the MRI from this morning shows a complete tear of the MCL.
